The EdTech Classroom Podcast Series
Joe is a Northern California native, assuming you ignore his birth in Reno (its almost California) and short stint in Colleyville, Texas (3rd-7th grade). In previous lives he worked as a Bel Air courtesy clerk (Bagger of the Year in 1993 & 1994), a UC Davis researcher (created designer walnuts), and even as a legislative aide for the California State Assembly. After some great ADHD medication he finally settled down on doing what he loves - teaching science and technology. Now starting his 6th year in education he has recently moved to a wonderful position at an Apple 1:1 school or as he likes to call it, “Heaven,” where he teaches 8th grade science. When Joe isn’t lesson planning, working on his blog, or creating this podcast he loves to read eclectic non-fiction books, ride his motorcycle and travel the world.
