Official Release of E-rate Changes
Official release of E-rate Changes by the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) - Sixth Report and Order
The FCC officially released today changes to the E-rate program that were announced on September 23, 2010. These changes are provided in the FCC’s Sixth Report and Order. The order is 146 pages and can be viewed and printed from the following site: http://hraunfoss.fcc.gov/edocs_public/recentReleases.do (then access the following document from the fourth set of FCC releases: Acrobat format: FCC-10-175A1.pdf.)
Please be advised that most of the CDE/K12HSN focus group/training panel is in Washington, D.C. this week to attend the first national E-rate training provided by USAC this season. The panel will be receiving clarification on all these changes to E-rate, and we will be incorporating this new information in our fall CDE/K12HSN state training.
Sign up for state E-rate training at: http://www.k12hsn.org/programs/erate/ , or contact Judy Bellamy at 530-532-5678.
